We cook all our food fresh to order – so hot and crisp fish and chips straight from the fryer. We peel and chip our potatoes each morning which are then double cooked to give a perfect chip – fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside.
All our fish comes from sustainable sources. Our cod, haddock and rock is MSC certified which means we’re helping to guarantee we can all enjoy fish and chips for years to come.
And it’s not just our fish and chips that are prepared with love – our pies are homemade, our sausages free-range and our homemade tartare sauce is the best you’ll ever taste!
We’re so thankful for the support we receive from the local community, it’s great to be able to give something back by supporting local charities, organisations and schools.
We’re proud to be a Platinum Partner with the Hospice of St Francis which provides care for people living with life-limiting illnesses in our local area.
We’re the main sponsor for the Harpenden Film Society, what better way to spend the evening than watching a great film after some Godfrey’s fish and chips!
