Every Monday after 4pm (Harpenden only for now) we offer Gluten Free fish and chips. These are cooked in a physically separate fryer to our regular fish and chips, with fresh oil, separate utensils and a separate serving area to avoid any chance of contamination.
Any other time of the time week we can cook in a Gluten Free batter on request, but not in separate oil so there is cross contamination.
Our pulled pork, mushy peas, minted peas and tartare sauce are Gluten Free.
No meat products are fried in our oil but fish and chips are fried together.
No ingredients containing nuts are used with the exception of our Hazelnut ice cream.
Our batter does not contain any dairy. We fry halloumi in the same oil as other products so there may be trace contamination.
We fry in vegetable oil.
Our mayonnaise does not contain raw egg. Our batter does not contain eggs. Our fishcakes have an egg wash which are cooked in the same oil as other products so there may be trace contamination
